Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Wronk-operated services that present or support account access, public website pages, profile or team pages, downloads, support communication, public application programming interfaces, leaderboard features and the Wronk desktop application.
It covers information collected directly from you, information received through connected providers such as Discord when you choose to sign in, and information created when you use Wronk features such as uploads, downloads, page customization, support requests or desktop app setup.
This policy is written to describe customer-facing processing only. It does not disclose confidential internal tooling, administrative systems, security methods or private infrastructure details.
Account and Identity Information
When you create or access a Wronk account, Wronk may process your display name, account identifier, Discord-linked identity information, avatar, email address if made available, account role, plan status, team role and related account timestamps.
If you sign in through Discord, Wronk receives the information needed to complete authentication and associate your Discord identity with your Wronk profile. Wronk uses that information to create or restore your session, manage plan-based access and show profile details inside the website or desktop app.
Sessions, Authentication and Local Storage
To keep your account signed in and secure, Wronk processes session identifiers, authentication tokens, authorization state values and related information needed to complete sign-in, restore an existing session and prevent broken login flows.
Certain session-related values may be stored in your browser, including local storage and session storage, so the website can remember your authenticated state, resume sign-in after redirects and avoid unnecessary repeated login prompts.
The desktop application may also process session information required to connect the app to your Wronk account and keep account-specific features available while you use the application.
Public Pages, Profiles and Community Content
If you create or appear on a public team page or profile page, Wronk may process profile text, display names, biographies, role labels, links, page design selections, profile images, banners, badges and related customization settings.
When enabled by the page owner or configured through the service, Wronk may also display public-facing Discord profile elements such as avatar, username, presence-related information, guild identity elements, activity details or status indicators.
Information you publish or permit to be displayed on a public page can be seen by other visitors, can be cached by browsers and delivery services and may remain visible in saved copies or third-party previews even after later changes.
Uploads, Files and Related Metadata
If you upload files, media, configuration packages, banners or related content through Wronk, Wronk processes the uploaded files together with metadata such as file name, category, visibility setting, content type, timestamps and the account or profile connected to that upload.
Upload-related information may include uploader identifiers, uploader display names, avatar references, selected content category, public or private visibility choices and information needed to show the upload in community areas, dashboards, public pages or leaderboard features.
Where an upload is intended for public or community distribution, the associated content and metadata may be visible to other users. Where an upload is intended for a private or account-limited flow, Wronk limits exposure according to the feature design and applicable access controls.
Desktop Application and Device-Related Information
The Wronk desktop application may process application runtime information such as app version, platform, update state and feature configuration needed to keep the app operational and compatible with your account.
When you use optional desktop features, Wronk may process device or configuration information needed for that feature, such as selected local game paths, update package details, hardware summary information used for compatibility checks, and optional Discord Rich Presence settings and activity labels.
Some of this information is used locally on your device to provide the requested feature. Some may be transmitted to Wronk services where needed to authenticate the app, retrieve updates, process uploads, show account-linked content or keep your dashboard synchronized.
Downloads, APIs, Diagnostics and Usage Data
When you use the website download flow, public APIs or desktop update flow, Wronk may process request data such as timestamps, account-linked access state, requested resource, version information, download eligibility and basic technical information required to deliver the requested content.
Wronk may also process operational logs, error reports and service interaction records to diagnose failures, secure the service, detect abuse, troubleshoot upload or update issues and maintain the reliability of the website, APIs and desktop application.
Applications, Support and Communications
If you submit a team or role application, Wronk may process your contact details, Discord-related information, selected role, submitted answers, portfolio links, timestamps and status history so the application can be reviewed and answered.
If you contact Wronk for support, billing, moderation, copyright or general help, Wronk may process your messages, contact details, attachments, account references and the records needed to respond, document the issue and improve service quality.
How Wronk Uses Personal Information
Wronk uses personal information to provide the service you request, including account authentication, plan-based access control, dashboard access, upload handling, page publishing, leaderboard display, download delivery, desktop app functionality and support communications.
Wronk also uses information to maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce product rules, comply with legal obligations, investigate complaints, improve the user experience and protect the rights, property and safety of Wronk, its users and third parties.
Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on the context, Wronk processes personal information because it is necessary to perform a contract or provide requested services, because you have asked Wronk to take steps before entering into a service relationship, because Wronk has legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, because you gave consent for a specific feature, or because processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
Where consent is used, you may withdraw it for future processing where the relevant feature makes that possible. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was already lawful before consent was withdrawn.
Sharing and Service Providers
Wronk may share information with service providers and business partners that support identity verification, hosting, file delivery, update delivery, customer support, communications, payment or subscription administration where applicable, and other customer-facing functions needed to operate the service.
Wronk may also share information with external platforms when you choose to connect them or when a feature depends on them, such as Discord for sign-in and connected profile functionality.
Wronk does not publish confidential account information merely because a profile or upload is public. Public visibility is limited to the content and metadata that the relevant public feature is designed to show.
International Transfers
Because Wronk and its service providers may operate in more than one country, personal information may be processed outside your home jurisdiction. Where cross-border transfers occur, Wronk aims to use an appropriate legal basis and reasonable safeguards required by applicable law.
The exact place of processing can vary depending on the service provider, the product feature used and the location from which you access Wronk.
Retention
Wronk keeps personal information for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to maintain your account, operate your chosen features, preserve service continuity, respond to disputes, enforce the rules of the service and meet legal obligations.
Retention periods may differ by data type. Public content may remain available until removed, account records may remain while the account is active or needed for legitimate business purposes, and certain legal, abuse-prevention or security records may be kept longer where justified.
Your Rights
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access personal information, request correction, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, and request a copy of information you provided in a portable format.
You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority or data protection authority if you believe your personal information has been handled unlawfully.
Security
Wronk uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No service can promise absolute security, but Wronk aims to apply reasonable protections appropriate to the nature of the service.
You are also responsible for protecting your own device, Discord account, local session environment and any publicly shared links or materials associated with your Wronk account.
Children and Age-Sensitive Use
Wronk is not intended to solicit personal information from children where doing so would violate applicable law. If you believe a child provided personal information inappropriately, contact Wronk so the issue can be reviewed.
If a particular product feature or jurisdiction requires parental consent or a minimum age, those requirements continue to apply even if not repeated on every page.
Contact and Requests
For privacy questions, account support or product help, contact hi@wronk.app. For formal legal or rights-related inquiries, including requests connected to content ownership or copyright issues, contact legal@wronk.app.
Wronk may request enough information to verify your identity before fulfilling a privacy request, especially where account access, public content or potentially sensitive information is involved.
